System Coordinator Our client is a high-tech company in the semiconductor industry, offering manufacturing solutions in machine tools, laser technology and electronics. As their System Coordinator, you will be part of the Service department which works on-site at the customer’s location. You will be responsible for the on-site installation, commissioning, final testing and service of the client components. Your main task is to coordinate and optimize the build and handover of assigned systems to the customer in accordance with the specifications and requirements.
You are responsible for supervising and controlling the work for the assigned system.
Inspecting work on location and finding technical or operational solutions for any problems on the assigned system.
Coordinating the work preparation, including the provision of materials and information for the technicians.
Giving the Material handlers & planners orders & guidance for the organizing of the logistic processes.
Defining the planning within the set norms. Making sure the required workforce capacity is assigned to the system in consultation with the Shift leads and Planner.
Drawing up of the engineering and materials planning. Change planning during the installation to optimize and improve the installation sequence.
Informing Shift leads about system planning.
Attending progress meetings and handling contact with in-house service and customer.
Putting forward ideas to achieve a more effective and efficient organization of the projects.
Acting as a helpdesk for technical & organizational aspects of the assigned system, both for the internal organization and for the customer.
Escalate throughout the defined escalation process when needed.
You take care of all administration of information relating to the project progress (cycle time, system down time e.g.).
The administration of escalation reports.
The administration of parts which are ordered for the system.
Maintaining drive laser project file (open topics, issues, open parts ordered, etc.).
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical education.
You have knowledge of Organisation and Management.
A minimum 5 years’ experience in delivering multidisciplinary projects involving high value capital equipment.
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and always work in a customer-oriented manner.
You are capable of setting priorities.
You are an analytical thinker.
You communicate well in English.
You have an affinity with semi-conductor industry.
You hold the right to work in the EU and are willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
